High Vapor Pressure

The Sentry MLG sampler incorporates a number of features to provide for safe, simple and represenatative sampling. The six-port tandem valve simplifies sampling by replacing multiple valve operations with just one ergonomically-designed valve. The sampler action is repeatable, so the sample is always as representative as possible.

By using an expansion vessel to reduce sample cylinder volume after the sample is captured, both safety (outage space for transport of the cylinder assembly) and representative sampling are assured for the most accurate data analysis results.

High Pressure

By purging the sample path and the sample panel during each sample cycle, the MCG manual low emission sampler assures a representative sample within the cylinder. Purging the sample panel after the sample is secured provides for maximum operator safety and minimum loss of sample vapors to the environment.

Gas Concentration

The Sentry® MGC manual low emission sampler is ideal for representative sampling of hazardous or toxic chemicals, providing utmost safety to operators and the environment. This sampler allows the operator to extract a representative sample and use a hand-held testing tube device (sold separately from other suppliers) to test concentrations, while protecting the operator and environment from contact with the dangerous vapors.

The Sentry MGC sample panel collects a volume of sample gas and reduces its pressure to atmospheric pressure. Then, a gas detection tube is used to measure gas concentration. The gas detection tube requires that the gas remain at atmospheric pressure throughout the testing cycle, and the sampling system maintains constant pressure of the collected sample throughout the sample extraction process.
